Abstract

This article discusses the importance of environmental licensing and the regulation of environmental administrative offences in the context of environmental law. Environmental licensing is a crucial instrument for reconciling economic development with environmental preservation, guaranteeing the protection of vital ecosystems. In addition, principles such as precaution and public participation are fundamental to its effectiveness. The regulation of environmental administrative offences and their sanctions play an essential role in holding those who cause damage to the environment accountable, ensuring fairness in accountability and preventing fraud. The liability of legal entities is also addressed, contributing to environmental protection. In short, these elements are fundamental to guaranteeing sustainable development that preserves and restores the natural resources essential to life on Earth.
